What is the difference between Raw hair and Virgin hair?

Raw Hair is exactly what it says, RAW! Our raw hair is 100% unprocessed and is 100% free of chemicals. Raw hair is collected from one donor so you will have more consistent hair strains. Raw hair is also one color only! It's not dyed and the color comes in its most natural state: brown. The pattern of the original donor is the pattern you will have. On the flip side, Virgin hair is collected from multiple donors and processed using chemicals to create the different patterns. Virgin hair can also be colored to appear a darker color.
 

How do you care for Raw Hair?

Please keep in mind that this is 100% Raw Hair which means it is unprocessed! Raw hair must be treated with care to get the maximum results and longevity. When washing, we recommend washing the hair every two weeks using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. We also recommend a satin or silk scarf for nighttime wear. Raw hair loves moisture and satin just like your hair! Comb the hair with a wide tooth comb and allow the hair to air dry. You can blow dry your hair also, but please remember this is raw hair, less heat is key.
 

How do you care for Virgin Hair?

When washing, we recommend washing the hair every two weeks using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. We also recommend a satin or silk scarf for nighttime wear.Comb the hair with a wide tooth comb and allow the hair to air dry. You can blow dry your hair also, but please remember this is raw hair, less heat is key. 

What is thicker Cambodian or Indian?

 
Cambodian is thicker and more coarse than Indian hair. Both our Indian and Cambodian hair is very lightweight. Please keep in mind, both will blend effortlessly with all ethnicity and hair types. 

 

Will the hair pattern change after being washed or colored?

No, with 100% Raw hair you do not have to worry about that. The are no chemicals used to manipulate the hair from its natural state. The hair pattern will not change with coloring or washing. 

 

How long will the Raw  Hair last?

When taken care of and colored by professionals, the hair will last 2-3 years.

How Long will the Virgin Hair Last?

When taken care of and colored by professionals, the hair will last 1-2 years.

How many bundles will I need?

Due to the quality and the density of our bundles we recommend 12-18 inches 2 bundles and 20-32 3 bundles.  Each bundle weighs 3.5-4 oz.

 

Can I change my order once it's been placed?

Unfortunately, once your order has been placed, it cannot be changed. Due to the demand and processing of orders, it is vital to make sure every order is filled within the time allowed. Please review your order thoroughly prior to submitting. We want to ensure your experience is stellar. 

 

What is the processing time when ordering bundles?

Please allows 3-5 business days for processing and another 2-3 days for shipping. Please keep in mind, weekends and holidays are not business days, and all orders placed during those times will be processed the next business day. 

Do you offer rush order on bundles? 

Yes, but the order has to go through the process period of 1-2 business days after the order has been placed. Thereafter, if overnight shipping is requested then that can be done at the buyers expense. Customer must specify Rush Order in order details section.

 

Can I send hair outside of Dmayahair to make a unit?

To ensure the quality of the hair provided on each wig, we DO NOT accept hair outside of Dmayahair. All wigs are made using our hair, frontals and closures only. 

 

What is the processing time when placing an order for units?

Please allow 7-10 business days for processing and another 2-3 days for shipping. Please keep in mind, weekends and holidays are not business days and all orders placed during those times will be processed the next business day.

 

What is the process time on ready to ship units?

The process time on Ready to Ship units is 1-2 business days from purchase. You will receive an email with your tracking information after your order has been shipped. If overnight shipping is requested, your order will shipped overnight after the processing period.

 

Do you offer overnight shipping on Ready to Ship units?

Yes, but the overnight will be after the 1-2 business days processing period. 

 

Do you offer rush orders on custom units?

To insure great quality in the unit, there are no rush orders on units. If interested in a unit, visit the READY TO SHIP page.

Return/Exchange policy

Due to the nature of the business, all sales are exchangeable only. Returns have a three day of receipt date. Anything after day three will not be returned. All hair, closures and frontals must be unworn, and in its original packaging, tags and zip ties with no signs of use. This includes washing, broken tags,broken zip ties or coloring and product use. Upon returning, the bundles will be inspected for any use. If there is any sign of washing, product use, coloring, broken tags or broken zip ties this will void the return. There will be a 8% restocking fee for all returns. Customers are responsible for returning hair to Dmayahair at their expense. There will be a store credit issued on any returned bundles. All store credits must be used within 30 days of being issued. Customers are responsible for the shipping cost. 

 

Please note: Federal Law states you can not return human hair products that have been used for health regulations and hygiene concerns. Upon returning, the bundles will be inspected for any use. If there is any sign of washing, product, coloring, broken tags or broken zip ties will void the return. ALL UNITS SALES ARE FINAL!
